Stampriet Historical Guest House

Stampriet Historical Guest House is located on a hill in Stampriet with breath-taking views, lush vegetation, flowing ponds and shaded by towering green trees. It features a bar, restaurant, outdoor pool, a lapa, secure parking and a jungle gym for kids. Our buildings are wrapped in a timeless ambience with stone walls, beautifully decorated rooms with historical artefacts and interesting souvenirs on display. We serve mouth-watering breakfast, lunch, cakes and dinner on request.

Stampriet is a small village which goes back to 1898, when it was a small trading post in the greatness of German South West Africa. It has history of many battles and events and evidence of these battles can still be found in the form of antique remains left behind by the people of that time. Some of these antiques can be found in the Historical Guest House.

Stampriet Historical Guest House Accommodation

Accommodation at our Guest House features towels and bed linen, lounge, air-conditioned rooms with antique furnishings, tea/coffee facilities, private patio and mosquito nets. Each unit is named after a Namibian town. We have single, couple and family rooms with en-suite bathrooms. We also have a honeymoon suite with a real old enamel bathtub.

Activities

Activities to be enjoyed in our Guest House are the swimming pool, a small library, a jungle gym for the children; we have a gift shop, Argilla pottery or visit the neighbouring farm – the Kalahari Farm House. Enjoy a sundowner from our deck and look over our beautiful village Stampriet.
