Tambuti Lodge
Tambuti Lodge is a beautiful lodge, set above the Kavango River overlooking the floodplain. Our lodge is open all year around, even during flood season. Tambuti features a swimming pool, on-site parking, African traditional cuisine at our on-site restaurant, a bar and our electricity is through solar energy for lights and water heating. At the lodge, we offer conference facilities that can accommodate up to 30 people, which includes a projector, whiteboards and Wi-Fi.
Accommodation
Our accommodation comprises in eight white washed bungalows set in a beautiful green garden just above the Kavango River. Each unit has a telephone, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, ceiling fan, safe, en-suite bathroom, mosquito net and a double Queen size bed. Unit 1 and 5 have an extra bathtub.
Activities
Activities at Tambuti include sunset cruises in the Kavango floodplain, self-drive tours to the nearby Living Museum of Mbunza, Kayaks for self-exploring in the floodplain and hiking. Tambuti is part of the Four Rivers Route – linking the north-western Omulunga palm route and Etosha Pan to the water ecosystems leading to the Kavango Okavango Pan and the Okavango delta in Botswana as well as the Zambezi wetland paradise and Livingstone with the powerful Victoria Falls.
