We travelled for 15 days in October 2025 with Blue Crane Safaris. In one sentence, they are fantastic! Petrina helped us to plan our trip. We had visited Namibia in 2022 with another agency but this time we decided to opt for Blue Crane. Petrina looked after all our requests and managed to book ultra luxurious lodges within the price band we had mentioned. Couple of other agencies quoted us a much higher price for the same itinerary. We were picked up from the airport at Windhoek by Marcus, who was our guide and driver. Any praise for him, will be too little. He was super attentive, hyper vigilant to our needs and an amazing spotter. The only problem now we will have, that in all our future safaris, we will compare our guides with Marcus and we are bound to be disappointed! He was just too good. The itinerary was planned out with minutest of details by Petrina and they delivered more. There were times we requested an upgrade in rooms or an additional trip, which were done without any hassle or extra cost. In short, you cannot go wrong with Blue Crane:)

Fantastic experience! Excellent communication prior to arrival from Petrina, wonderfully planned itinerary, fantastic campsites and great recommendations. It was our first self drive safari but everything was very straightforward, Namibia is the perfect country for it. Blue Crane made everything run smoothly, airport pick up, collection and drop off of the car (which was pretty new and very good). I would definitely recommend the company and hopefully will use them again myself in the future.

An Unforgettable 16-Day Safari from Windhoek to Victoria Falls
We just completed a breathtaking 16-day journey from Windhoek to Victoria Falls, and we owe much of its success to the incredible team at Blue Crane Safari.
First, a big thank you to Jamie, our tour operator, who crafted the itinerary and accommodation to match our wishes perfectly. Every detail was clearly communicated and flawlessly arranged. We were even provided with a brand-new 4x4 vehicle—fresh off the lot—and had the honor of being its first users!
But the true heart of our adventure was Markus, our tour guide and driver. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made this trip unforgettable. Markus kept the vehicle spotless every day, drove with exceptional skill—always avoiding potholes—and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout.
What truly set Markus apart was his extraordinary knowledge of birds and wildlife. His ability to spot birds from incredible distances was astonishing, and he never hesitated to stop the vehicle so we could take photos whenever we encountered birds along the road. These spontaneous moments became some of our favorite memories. His passion for nature, paired with his eagle-eyed vision and insightful commentary, turned every sighting into a meaningful experience.
Markus wasn’t just a guide—he was a companion, a protector, and a walking encyclopedia of the African wilderness. His presence elevated our trip from great to exceptional.

The six of us took a private trip of 15 days to visit Namibia, Botswana, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Our trip included visits to Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Etosha safari, the Okavango delta, Chobe national park and finally the Victoria Falls. The senery along the trip was breathtaking. The game drives were fun and exciting. Our guide Frank did a great job taking us to places and telling stories about the them. He also accommodated our special requests when we had any. We really enjoyed the whole trip. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely amazing time during our three week travel through Namibia, Botswana and the Victoria Falls.
From start to finish the communication with Blue crane was perfect.Derek and I had lots of contact to design the perfect Tayler made holiday for my family of eight.
Me-Gusto was our guide and he made sure our holiday was absolutely amazing. He attended to all our diverging needs, was always flexible, super knowledgeable about the area and the animals, and just a great person! Poulus was our cook and he made sure that we were always eating delicious meals.
My personal highlight was seven days of wild camping in the Okavango Delta! So if you are planning a trip definitely include this! We had an extra guide in the Okavango Delta named Kane and he was amazing as well.
