We had our "camel with engine" for 67 days.
The whole time without any problems.
Once we got stock in the sand close to Swakop. Christina ordered on our request a Tow-in car.
Smale company but efficient.
Next time, we will book again a camel car...

We used Camel car Hire to provide our 4 x 4 vehicle when we recently visited Namibia.
We were initially attracted to Camel by their competitive and transparent pricing structure.
We were welcomed by their driver on arrival at Windhoek airport and promptly whisked off to pick up our vehicle which was awaiting us, ready to go, on their forecourt on arrival.
That was after the driver kindly waited for us to purchase a local sim for our phones, having directed us to the MTN shop
We were in contact with the office via WhatsApp throughout.
Pleasingly this is a small family company concern which is overseen by the owners who were a pleasure to deal with.
There was only 2 off us picking up our vehicles on that morning so after a very fast, simple and painless registration we were on our way in minutes.
There was no attempt to sell us anything we didn't need as so often happens.
Having picked up vehicles at airports all over the World from the
the 'Larger' operators this experience was a breath of fresh air.
The same applied to the vehicles return which went just as smoothly.
I am extremely happy to recommend Camel car hire to fellow travellers.

We spent six weeks traveling through Namibia and Botswana with a vehicle from Camel Car Hire and had a fantastic time. The vehicle was in excellent condition – we didn't have a single problem with it. We even had brand-new tires fitted before our trip, so we made it through the entire six weeks without a single breakdown. We were impressed by the owners' competence and friendliness, and they treated us kindly when we had to contact them about minor accident damage. We were able to rent the vehicle at a very fair price, and the owners were extremely accommodating upon return. Despite a few scratches and the aforementioned minor accident damage, they didn't charge us anything. We are very satisfied and highly recommend Camel Car Hire!

Absolutely amazing. We rented a 14 seater and were super happy with it during our trip to Etosha and back. The bus was an older model but well maintained and comfortable.
Everyone at Camel Car is super friendly and accommodating and we even got a free ride to the airport after we dropped off the car.
Super professional, kind, reliable and always available through WhatsApp in case there is a problem.
Giving full 5 stars for our experience.
