Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp, located in the expansive Palmwag Concession of Damaraland, Namibia, offers an exceptional Namibian safari experience centred around the critically endangered desert-adapted black rhino​. This camp provides an intimate, immersive wilderness experience, with just eight Meru-style tents that blend seamlessly into the starkly beautiful, rocky desert landscape.​

Not only does the camp offer the opportunity to encounter the iconic black rhino, but visitors may also spot desert-adapted lions, elephants, zebras, spotted hyenas, giraffes, and antelopes such as oryx and springbok, as well as various bird species​​. Wilderness Desert Rhino Camp is deeply committed to conservation, partnering with three local community conservancies and Save the Rhino Trust Namibia to protect and preserve the wildlife of this unique desert environment.​

Visitors to the camp can expect a warm, welcoming space, with a chance to relax on the deck of their luxury tent and gaze out over the endless rocky plains​. In addition to wildlife tracking during the day, nights at the camp are spent sharing stories around the fire under the star-filled sky, making for a truly authentic African adventure.​

Desert Rhino Camp can be reached by self-drive travellers – it is recommended that guests make use of a rented 4×4 vehicle. Guests travelling by fly-in safari in Namibia are welcome at the camp.
