Our expectations were fully met. Airport pickup and vehicle briefing were exemplary. Returning the car was also completely hassle-free. The blocked amount on my credit card was released within two days, as there was no damage to the vehicle. The return transfer from Windhoek to the airport was also trouble-free and the company was pleasant. Definitely five stars from me. And: the vehicle was truly excellent.

Beware of this scam! €307 was deducted from our deposit without any justification or explanation.
We chose this agency after reading the generally positive reviews and wanted a local, family-run business. We opted for the maximum insurance coverage.
On paper, the agency was cheaper. The vehicle and equipment weren't brand new, but we're not particularly demanding. We had a three-week rental where the faulty equipment was a bit of a nuisance, but unfortunately for us, that wasn't the worst of it... (a tent pole that no longer worked, water leaking into the tent, a refrigerator that shut off as soon as the road turned gravel—which was 90% of the time—and a key that wouldn't turn in the trunk lock due to lack of maintenance).
At the end of our stay, an agency representative came to collect the car, inspected it, started the engine, said everything was fine, and that we would receive our full deposit within a few days.
Before leaving, having received no updates, we called the manager regarding the deposit. He told us he had noticed "a few defects," including a faulty shock absorber. A week later, on the bank's website, we saw that he had already withdrawn €307 upon the car's return, without any supporting documentation, invoices, or prior notification, leading us to believe we would get our deposit back. Yet, throughout our trip, he seemed professional. He even told us he did this regularly and that it was perfectly normal to keep his agency afloat given the state of the roads. When we tried to communicate, understand the situation, and obtain invoices and proof, he told us "not to act like children" and that if he wanted, he could keep the entire deposit.
The 4x4 ended up costing us significantly more than with other agencies. We returned to France with a heavy heart and a bad memory of this trip. Once in France, we have no recourse.
Don't get scammed like we did. Go away.

I first became aware of Osino Car Hire 7 years ago when I was looking for a new reliable car rental company in Namibia. I am from Germany and regularly come to Namibia to travel with friends or family.
Since I rented my first fully equipped camping car + roof tent with them in 2019, I come back every time and always had good experiences.
The service is great, the equipment of the cars, the handover and also the contact with the office if something goes wrong on the trip and you need help.
You get great instructions on how everything works on the car, how to change tires, and it is clearly explained what is included in the contract and what is not, so that you don't have an uncomfortable feeling when signing. I'm already looking forward to my next trips!

I would caution those considering Osino Car Hire. Benefit of the doubt, I would say they are wildly incompetent, more cynically – they deploy deceptive practices to inflate costs.
The quote I was given inaccurately calculated the rental days, though the dates provided were accurate. Asking them to correct, we received back a proposal corrected but a higher daily rate – without explanation or even acknowledgment that the rates had changed.
It seems throughout the interactions that they continuously attempt to inflate costs in hopes that it goes unnoticed.
Others have commented that their terms and agreement as it pertains to any real or perceived damages, are written very much in their favour – which indeed they are. If you feel so inclined to reduce your liability to NAD$15,000, mind you, Standard 3 Insurance and Tire & Windscreen Protection will increase your overall cost by 38%. They certainly get you with the add-ons.
The context of their insurance packages are seemingly ambiguous. Asking for clarification, Sybille became agitated and impatient. Their website presents very little information on the matter. The policies themselves are poorly represented, this is the only agency I interacted with which provides a default insurance policy with a daily limit of 300 KM. To exceed that, one is required ‘Super Coverage’ (try finding that on their website) or an additional daily fee.
There are so many other agencies out there in Namibia – others with more reviews and TripAdvisor ratings. Would highly recommend considering others than trusting your vacation with Osino Car Hire.

I rented a 4x4 from Osino car for almost 3 weeks. I had a great time. Martin is a very reliable person and super helpful both before and during the rental of the vehicle. I am very glad I chose him for my first time in Namibia and first time in Africa and I highly recommend him.

We were very satisfied both times and we can warmly recommend Osino. The cars as well as the camping equipment is good maintained. Very friendly, uncomplicated and good service!
