Wildacker Guestfarm is your halfway stop-over between Windhoek and Caprivi or the eastern Etosha and Caprivi! It is situated in the unique Caprivi woodland vegetation zone of the northern Kalahari. With a 15 000ha private game reserve – rich in a variety of endemic Namibian wildlife, occasional sightings of predators and the endangered Wild Dog. Guests can reach us by road or fly in on “Wildacker’s” own runway. Our energy is provided by our eco-friendly solar plant.

Wildacker Guestfarm accommodation is in six comfortable thatched roof, en-suite bungalows.  There are 3 standard bungalows (2 beds), 2 large bungalows (3 beds) and 1 large family bungalow (4 beds). Each bungalow has a private setting and view into the African savannah or overlooking the garden. Guests can relax at the pool after the adventurous days or in the “Palaverraum”. Home cooked meals are a mixture of Namibian & European cuisine. All meals are served in the farmhouse and in the afternoon we have coffee and cake. Have an ice cold beer or a sundowner drink, or for the wine lovers – we have a wine cellar with a great choice of South African wines.

Participate in guided game walks, nature drives through the Mangetti Dune landscape and thorn bush savannah. The birding here will surprise you. We have a hide at the waterhole, where you can spot many animals and possibly carnivores.

“Wildacker” is known for its exciting hunting excursions with trophies for display. We have been in the hunting business for almost 50 years. Guests need to have a hunting license prior to their arrival. Our hunting season always starts beginning February til end of November. For the wear, it has to be khaki clothing or light olive green bush clothing. Guests need to have travel insurance, just for safety.
