Etosha Trading Post Campsite sits on the C38, 6.5 km from Andersson (Okaukuejo) Gate, Etosha’s southern entrance. A fuel station, shop, tyre workshop and campsite are all on one site, making it a practical base for self-drive travellers heading into Etosha National Park.
What Makes Etosha Trading Post Campsite Different
Few campsites this close to Andersson Gate double as a full pit stop, which is useful for topping up before or after a few days in the park. The service station sells 50 ppm diesel and unleaded petrol, and there are public restrooms for passing travellers. The tyre workshop handles punctures and minor vehicle issues. The shop stocks groceries, fresh bread, frozen meat, beer, wine, firewood and ice, along with take-away meals and freshly brewed coffee from the deli. A large curio deck sells souvenirs. Sister property Etosha Village is 5.5 km away, and Trading Post guests can use its buffet restaurant and book activities through its Adventure Centre.
